My view religion

I am a Buddhist. But I do still believe in and respect the religion of others. I believe that there is God or the almighty creator for one.

However, note that I do not worship. I only respect. Buddhists do not worship the Buddha. They respect, and that goes the same to everything else. I give the Buddha a higher level of respect because he is truly a remarkable person. A person whose vigilance has found a way to end suffering, and it isnt simple, like all great journeys, which is one of the many reasons I choose to homage this great teacher.

He is more like an advisor, someone that dishes out advice, advice that can help in many, many ways, advice that really works, advice that benefits in the past, present and future. His vision is amazing. His advice is still applicable in the future and there are no hiccups. The advices range from slimming down to treating depression, and they all work.

Perhaps, the thing that makes me admire the Buddha the most is his sermons, or Sutras. It is completely different from those in the Bible, Koran, The Vedas or the Torah. They are more like a scientific report, where a statement or ideology is presented by the Buddha, and then he supports it with reasoning and questioning, case studies and practical application. There is no advice more beautiful, straightforward, acceptable than the Buddha's.

However, I find that every religion has its own beauty and is great in their own way.
